At an event on Wednesday night, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared to mock her own outraged voters by smiling and rhythmically swaying to the chants of "AOC has got to go." As she sat on a stage, she did this as the chants were going on.
The two-term congresswoman from Queens, New York, can be seen in a video that was shared on social media grinning and moving her shoulders in time to the shouts while also being accompanied by a bongo drum rhythm. She then takes a drink from a bottle of water. It was the latest instance in which Ocasio-Cortez had to deal with irate constituents, following the criticism she received the previous week for her support of providing military aid to Ukraine.
She can be heard saying in the video, Very classy, thank you gentleman, while pointing her finger at a member of the audience who had probably heckled her.

According to FreedomNews.reporting, TV's the event took place in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens, and the demonstrators' primary concerns were the lack of housing options for LGBTQ+ people and the requirement that all children receive vaccinations.
According to the site, the lights were briefly turned off, and the politician was hustled out of the room before returning and claiming, I'm not permitted to be in a room with the lights turned off.
A week prior to this incident, Ocasio-Cortez was heckled during a town hall session for, in the words of outraged constituents, voting to ignite a nuclear war. This incident occurred following the town hall event.
Congresswoman! One demonstrator can be heard yelling in a video that was tweeted by Twitter that none of this matters unless there is a nuclear war, which you voted for by sending arms and weaponry to Ukraine.
This heckler and another one lauded former Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard, who declared a week ago that she was leaving the party because of its more hardline stance on issues.
The second heckler demanded that AOC reject the Democratic Party like Tulsi Gabbard, saying, Tulsi Gabbard has shown courage where you've showed cowardice.
In the same way that every other member of the House of Representatives is, Ocasio-Cortez will face re-election the following month. Since moving to Washington, the self-proclaimed socialist and founding member of the so-called Squad, who is 33 years old, has been subjected to allegations that she has compromised on some of the far-Left principles she once held.
Tina Forte, a Bronx business owner, is challenging Ocasio-Cortez for her seat in the 14th Congressional District. Forte characterizes herself as financially conservative and socially liberal. Ocasio-seat Cortez's appears to be safe, but she faces a fight from Forte.
In a recent article, Forte stated that AOC has spent her time hiking taxes, bad-mouthing company owners, and pushing away huge employers like Amazon, which has resulted in the loss of thousands of jobs for New Yorkers and has been harmful to our economy.
