What Kamala Harris Said About “Immortality” Is Quite Shocking

During a lecture that she gave at South Carolina State College, the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, drew a favorable comparison between herself and the famous John Adams, who served as the second President of the United States and was known as the "Atlas of American Independence."

Harris was assigned to the role of tie-breaker in the Senate after Democrats won both of Georgia's U.S. Senate runoff elections in 2021. At the time, the Senate was equally divided between Republicans with one side and Democrats and their independent backers on the other. Harris was the only Democrat in the Senate at the time.

As you may know, in addition to my role as Vice President of the United States, I am also the President of the United States Senate. She boasted that while serving in that post, she broke John Adams' record for breaking the most ties in a single term by casting the most votes to break ties. This is for any historians who are in the audience. To put things in perspective, a young guy who was born in Oakland, California and who received his degree from an HBCU recently beat the record that John Adams had set previously. I think that everyone should have a comprehensive understanding of how the course of history can shift.

John Adams is widely regarded as a pivotal character in American history due to his role as leader of the independence movement at the Second Continental Congress in 1776, his advocacy for the abolition of slavery, and his support for George Washington as commander of the Continental Army. John Quincy, the man who served as the sixth President of the United States and was a man so humble and devoted to his country that he served as a representative in Congress after he left the office, is also a part of his prestigious legacy, which has been explained in countless novels and films. John Quincy was a man who served as a representative in Congress after he left the office.

During her speech, Harris made care to bring to the audience's attention the excessive spending of taxpaying dollars by the Biden administration, bringing attention to the forgiveness of student debts, among other things. Also, it is essential that you are aware that this debt forgiveness is not limited to only those who are enrolled in graduate programs. It's possible that many of you who are currently seated here can relate to this as well. If you obtained a government loan prior to July 1 of this year, then you are eligible to apply for this grant. Kindly keep this in mind, thank you.

If that wasn't enough, she pushed the students to let their friends, siblings, and cousins know about the opportunity to receive help from the government: You are not need to have graduated to qualify for the debt relief, so if you have a friend, brother or sister, or cousin who acquired that student debt to the point where they may have needed to quit school before graduating from college, they can apply.  Please help to get the word out so that others can take advantage of this opportunity.

So let me be clear: Although we have made incredible progress, there is still a lot of work to be done, she said. For instance, we have not yet accomplished our goal of making community college tuition-free for all students. We are aware that the ability to pay for an education should not determine whether or not you have access to a good one, and this should not be the case.
