The majority of voters, or 55 percent, have indicated that they have concerns about Biden's mental capacity. This is in contrast to the 45 percent of people who believe Biden is mentally able to serve as commander-in-chief.
It shouldn't come as a surprise that 83 percent of Republicans and 67 percent of independents have doubts about Biden's mental health. Although the majority of Democrats (78%) believe that Joe Biden has a healthy mental state, a significant minority (22%) of Democrats (approximately one fifth) confess that they have similar worries.
In addition, 68 percent of respondents believe that Biden is showing that he is "too old" to be president, while only 32 percent believe that he is showing that he is qualified. Republicans, who make up 92% of the voting population, and independents, who make up 76% of the voting population, believe that Biden is once again demonstrating that he is too old to serve as president. In addition, more than one third of Democrats, or 35% of the party's membership, hold this view.
The current approval rating for Vice President Joe Biden is at around 42%, and he continues to score bad marks on a wide range of areas, including the economy and dealing with crime. Considering that the midterm elections are only a few weeks away, this presents a challenge for Democrats.
Another important conclusion from the survey is that voters, who are extremely dissatisfied by the efforts the Democrats have launched under Biden's leadership, are "more attracted by the Republican platform than the Democrat one."
“The Biden administration has subsidized electric cars, subsidized college loans and pardoned marijuana offenders. They also raised corporate taxes and added 87,000 IRS agents,” but 48 percent of respondents disagreed with this statement while 52 percent believed they make it.
Sixty percent of respondents said that they were interested in the Republican platform to "close the border to illegal crossings, increase the incarceration of criminals, [and] reduce or freeze government spending," while forty percent of respondents said that they were not interested in the Republican platform.
The poll was held on October 12 and 13, 2022, and there were a total of 2,010 registered voters who took part in the survey.
Two-thirds of respondents in a Rasmussen Reports survey that was carried out in February 2022 expressed their support for Republican members of Congress who desired to investigate the mental capacity of Vice President Joe Biden. I&I/TIPP carried out a study in the month of August, the results of which showed that 59 percent of respondents are "concerned" about Biden's mental health.
