By February, CNN's monthly audience is expected to be its smallest since June 2014.
According to a report by Fox News, the network is expected to lose a significant portion of its viewers in the 25-54 demographic by the end of the month. Some of its programs, such as "Anderson Cooper 360," "The Lead," and "The Situation Room," are currently in their lowest average viewership since 2014.
The new CNN morning program, which premiered in February, reached 361,000 viewers in its first 24 days. It is led by Don Lemon and Kaitlan Collins, who used to be a reporter for the Daily Caller.
According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, "The Situation Room" and "The Lead With Jake Tapper" are expected to lose 40% of their viewers in the demo in February. Anderson Cooper's program is also expected to take a hit, with the average viewership dropping 38%.
During last week's episode, Tapper conducted a town hall discussion about the train disaster that occurred in East Palestine, Ohio. The program, which was in the 9-11 p.m time slot, had the lowest average viewership among key demographic. In 2022, it dropped 46% of CNN's total viewership.
