Zelensky and Putin Face Off: Can Turkey Talks End the War?

Ukraine and Russia are sitting down for peace talks again this week. These talks are happening in Turkey on Wednesday. Everyone hopes this brings us closer to ending the war.

President Zelensky says he’s ready to meet Putin face to face. He believes only top leaders can secure real peace. Ukraine wants the fighting to stop now.

Russia is demanding Ukraine hand over huge chunks of land. They want control of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson. Moscow insists the world must accept these stolen territories as Russian.

Ukraine has its own conditions for peace. They demand Russia return kidnapped children and free all civilians. Prisoner swaps must continue too.

Both sides are miles apart right now. The Kremlin admits their positions are opposites. Hopes for a quick deal seem slim.

President Trump isn’t waiting around. He’s warned Russia to make peace or face crushing sanctions. His deadline is early September.

Conservatives see this as America flexing its muscle. Strong leadership forces tyrants to negotiate. Trump’s toughness protects our interests.

Peace won’t come easy, but talking beats fighting. Our great nation stands for freedom, not endless war. Let’s pray these talks save lives.
