Since Elon Musk purchased Twitter two months ago, he has become the company's new CEO.
He has since worked with journalists to publish the Twitter Files, which expose how former executives of the company worked with government agencies to suppress information and dissent. The stories revealed how the federal government has used private companies to violate the First Amendment's rights.
Before Musk took over Twitter, users have been asking why the platform censored the story about Hunter Biden's laptop. They believed that this was happening, and they were called conspiracy theorists. The FBI even referred to them as such last week.

But now, Twitter critics and censored users are being vindicated.

In response, Congressman Jim Jordan, who will be the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, sent a letter to Christopher Wray, the FBI's director, asking for an investigation into the issue.
"In the letter, The committee is also looking into the Federal Bureau's abuse and politicization, as well the role of Big Tech in suppressing conservatives' online activities. According to newly released information, the FBI has been working with Twitter to remove certain content from the platform. These details show that the agency has maintained a relationship with the company for a long time, and it is still conducting surveillance operations. Congressman Jordan stated that these revelations show how the FBI is hostile to the First Amendment."
