Trump EVISCERATES January 6th Witch Hunt Report

In response to the report that was presented by the January 6th Committee on Friday, President Trump issued a video message to the website Truth Social.

Trump asserted that the committee's investigation was nothing more than a "partisan witch hunt." He also indicated that they had removed a piece of his address that he had delivered on January 6th, in which he had encouraged people to demonstrate in a nonviolent manner. He made this statement during the press conference. He stated that this was used as evidence against him by the committee to support their conclusion that he was trying to incite violence.

The former president also addressed the fact that Liz Cheney, a member of the Republican Party in Wisconsin, had purposefully left out the portion of his tweet in which he encouraged everyone to "go home with love and peace." As well as when he advised the general people to have "peace and respect" for law officers approximately 25 to 30 minutes after the break-in at the Capitol had occurred.

In addition to this, he added that he had requested that the National Guard send thousands of troops out on that particular day to protect the populace from harm. This proposal was denied, however, by both Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of the District of Columbia.

Additionally, Trump asserted that the FBI and Twitter had banned a significant number of his tweets during the time period in question. Among these was a comment he made in which he expressed a desire for "law and order." In addition to this, he brought up the fact that a false tale had been spread on Twitter, which asserted that he had attempted to hijack the presidential limousine by making a grab for the steering wheel of the vehicle.

In addition to this, he described the upcoming presidential election in 2020 as a "corrupt tragedy." He asserted that the committee had not uncovered even the slightest piece of evidence to suggest that he harboured any desire to engage in violent behaviour. In addition to that, he made an analogy between the probe and the committee and the Russia hoax.

He asserted that every day of his presidency had been filled with a new witch hunt, and he provided a number of examples to support this assertion. Among these are the hoax involving Russia and Ukraine, the FBI's decision to conceal a story regarding Hunter Biden, and the search warrant executed at Mar-a-Lago.

In addition, the president emphasised that the demonstrations that took place on January 6 did not constitute an uprising. They were, rather, a "demonstration that got out of control," as the phrase puts it.

The findings of the January 6th Committee prompted President Trump to issue a video address in response to those findings. He asserted that it would go down in history as the most successful "con job" ever attempted.
