President Trump just delivered another massive win for America with Mexico handing over 26 dangerous cartel leaders to face justice in our courts. These criminals have poisoned our communities with deadly fentanyl and murdered innocent Americans for years. Under weak leadership, they operated with impunity while our families suffered.
Attorney General Pam Bondi made it clear these monsters will face severe consequences for their crimes against our nation. Among the extradited thugs is Abigael Gonzalez Valencia, a leader of the violent Los Cuinis cartel that works with the notorious Jalisco New Generation cartel. Another criminal, Roberto Salazar, is accused of killing a Los Angeles sheriff’s deputy back in 2008.
This marks the second time Mexico has bent the knee to Trump’s America First policies. In February, they already sent us 29 cartel members including the infamous drug lord Rafael Caro Quintero. Mexico knows Trump means business when he threatens their economy.
The deal happened because Trump threatened massive tariffs on Mexican goods if they didn’t cooperate. Mexico’s leaders realized they couldn’t mess around with a president who actually fights for American interests. They chose to help us instead of protecting these drug dealers.
Trump has rightfully classified the Jalisco cartel as a terrorist organization. These aren’t just drug dealers – they’re foreign terrorists destroying American lives with poison. Previous administrations treated them like common criminals while they built drug empires.
Mexico only agreed to this after the US promised not to seek the death penalty for these killers. That’s unfortunate because many of these monsters deserve the ultimate punishment for the lives they’ve destroyed. Still, life in American prisons beats the luxury they enjoyed in Mexico.
This victory shows what real leadership looks like when protecting our borders and communities. Trump’s tough stance on Mexico is forcing them to clean house and stop harboring criminals who target Americans. No more Mr. Nice Guy diplomacy that lets cartels run wild.
The American people deserve a president who puts their safety first, not foreign criminals’ comfort. Trump is proving once again that strength and determination get results while weakness invites more violence. This is just the beginning of making our border and communities safe again.
