Colombian rapper Maluma shocked fans when he stopped his Mexico City concert mid-song over the weekend. He spotted a mother in the crowd holding her one-year-old baby without any ear protection. The music star immediately called out the woman in front of thousands of people.
Maluma asked the mother how old her baby was, then let her have it. He told the crowd that bringing a one-year-old to a loud concert was completely irresponsible. The rapper said the high decibel levels could seriously damage the child’s hearing.
The father of a one-year-old daughter himself, Maluma didn’t hold back his anger. He told the mother she was waving the baby around like a toy and that the child clearly didn’t want to be there. He demanded she protect her baby’s ears next time or just leave the kid at home.
Finally, someone in Hollywood with the guts to call out terrible parenting. While most celebrities stay silent about bad behavior, Maluma stood up for what’s right. He put that irresponsible mother in her place and protected an innocent child.
This is exactly what we need more of in America today. Too many parents think their kids are accessories instead of precious lives to protect. Children deserve better than being dragged to adult events that could hurt them.
Personal responsibility used to mean something in this country. Parents had a duty to keep their kids safe, not parade them around for social media likes. This mother cared more about showing off than protecting her baby’s health.
Liberals love to talk about protecting children, but where are they when kids actually need help. They’re too busy pushing their woke agenda to stand up for basic child safety. Thank God for people like Maluma who still have common sense.
This story should wake up every parent in America. Your job is to protect your children, not use them as props for your entertainment. Maybe more celebrities should follow Maluma’s lead and start calling out bad parenting when they see it.
