Putin Mocks Biden’s Diplomacy With Devastating Ukraine Assault

Russia just showed the world what they think of peace talks. While President Biden was busy pretending diplomacy works, Putin launched his biggest attack yet on innocent Ukrainian civilians. Over 570 drones and 40 missiles rained down on cities far from any battlefield, killing at least one person and wounding 18 others.

This massive assault came just six days after so-called peace negotiations with the United States. Putin is laughing at American weakness while Ukrainian families run for bomb shelters. The Biden administration’s soft approach has only emboldened this bloodthirsty dictator to escalate his war crimes.

Ukrainian President Zelensky is now begging for stronger action against Moscow. He wants new sanctions and tariffs to pressure Russia into real peace talks. But sanctions clearly are not working when Putin feels free to launch over 600 weapons at civilian targets in one night.

The attack targeted cities in western Ukraine, nowhere near any military front lines. Putin deliberately chose to terrorize innocent people sleeping in their beds. This is exactly what happens when America shows weakness on the world stage.

Even worse, a Russian drone crashed and exploded in NATO member Poland during the same attack. Polish officials called it another Russian provocation designed to test Western resolve. Putin is literally bombing our allies while Biden sits on his hands.

NATO fighter jets had to scramble across Eastern Europe as Russian missiles flew toward civilian targets. Romania detected drone groups heading for Ukrainian ports on the Danube River. Our allies are doing the heavy lifting while America offers empty words.

Ukraine managed to shoot down most of the incoming weapons, but that is not good enough. American taxpayers have sent billions in aid, yet Putin still feels comfortable launching record-breaking attacks. We need leadership that puts fear into our enemies, not hope into their hearts.

President Zelensky said these strikes prove we need to pressure Moscow harder until diplomacy actually works. He is right, but it will take American strength and resolve to make Putin listen. The world is watching to see if we still have what it takes to stand up to evil.
