Gov. Abbot SLAMS NYC Mayor for Complaining About Migrants in His ‘Sanctuary City’

Democrats have, over the course of many years, reduced once-proud large cities to the status of hellholes. They have accomplished this goal in part by establishing laws known as "sanctuary laws." Because of these regulations, law enforcement cannot report illegal aliens to the federal government so that they can be deported. This has resulted in cities being magnets for criminal aliens, which is a significant contributor to the rising rate of crime.

However, all of a sudden, the mayor of New York is getting worked up over the growing population of people living in the city illegally. The open borders policies of Vice President Joe Biden have made it possible for the governor of Texas to transport illegal immigrants to major cities such as Washington, DC and New York. Now, Mayor Adams is arguing that illegal immigrants are a burden, just at the time when Texas is transporting illegal immigrants to his city.

The governor obviously had some things to say to him.

On Monday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a Republican, lashed out at New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, for constantly whining about the small number of illegal aliens that have been bussed to the city despite the fact that Texas has been compelled to bear the brunt of the immigration crisis that has erupted under President Joe Biden. Abbott pointed out that Texas has been forced to bear the brunt of the crisis because of President Biden's policies.

It's funny how Mayor Adams is so upset because Abbott brought approximately 40 illegal immigrants to New York. On the other hand, he does not give a hoot about the thousands that have swamped communities in Texas. The situation has deteriorated to such a degree that a number of municipalities are being threatened with "bailouts" whenever a vehicle carrying illegal immigrants is involved in a high-speed chase with police that results in violent collisions. Illegal immigrants frequently make their escape, after which they disseminate violence over the state.

Abbott called Adams' fury "hypocritical," and he received a lot of criticism for it. When it is on his terms, Adams has no problem with illegal immigrants working in New York, taking jobs away from Americans, and draining the country of its resources. But all of a sudden it becomes a problem when the governor of Texas dispatches a few dozen people to bring a little amount of help to the state of Texas.

If New York did share a border with Mexico, I seriously doubt Adams's opinion would remain the same. If people in New York had to live through the mayhem and bloodshed that occurs at the southern border on a daily basis, I seriously doubt that they would allow Adams to overlook it or even embrace it.

If Adams continued to behave in this manner near the border, he would be fired from his position. However, he and his backers won't call on Biden to help secure the border and put an end to this disaster. However, by continuing to disregard it, he is drawing attention to the state of Texas.

And the Democrats will suffer significant losses as a result of this.
