Zelenskyy Snubs Trump Deal, Hands Putin a Major Victory

President Trump’s big plan to secure rare minerals from Ukraine blew up in a fiery Oval Office clash. Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy walked away without signing the deal after arguing with Trump and Vice President JD Vance. This failure hands Russia’s Vladimir Putin a major win and leaves America’s interests hanging.

Fox News host Mark Levin slammed Zelenskyy for blowing a historic opportunity. The deal would have given the U.S. access to Ukraine’s vast mineral riches—worth trillions. American companies would have thrived, creating jobs here at home. Ukraine would have gotten cash and protection from future Russian attacks. But Zelenskyy chose to pick fights instead of making progress.

Democrats are secretly cheering this disaster. They’ve always opposed Trump’s America-first deals. Now they’re giddy watching Ukraine’s leader embarrass himself on the world stage. Levin warned that weak leadership in Kyiv plays right into Putin’s hands. Without U.S. muscle, Ukraine can’t stand up to Russia.

The meeting started with hope. Trump offered a deal to share Ukraine’s mineral wealth 50-50. Zelenskyy could have locked in American support for years. But he insulted Trump by doubting his peace talks with Putin. He even called Putin a “killer” and “terrorist” during the meeting. Trump fired back, saying Zelenskyy was “gambling with World War III” and showing zero gratitude for billions in U.S. aid.

Vice President Vance called out Zelenskyy’s arrogance. “Have you said thank you once?” he demanded. Trump’s team worked hard to make this deal happen. Zelenskyy’s outbursts ruined everything. Now the deal is dead, and Ukraine is weaker than ever.

This isn’t the first time Zelenskyy has caused problems. Last week, he rejected an earlier version of the deal. Trump called him a “dictator” for refusing fair terms. The deal would have required Ukraine to share profits from oil, gas, and ports until America recouped $500 billion. Zelenskyy called that “harsh” but still expects endless U.S. handouts.

Putin is the real winner here. A strong U.S.-Ukraine partnership would have kept Russia in check. Now Putin can push harder, knowing Ukraine’s allies are divided. Levin stressed that Zelenskyy’s emotional outbursts hurt his own people. Peace requires strength, not tantrums.

Trump remains focused on ending the war. He wants a deal that saves lives and protects American interests. Zelenskyy’s refusal to cooperate leaves Ukraine vulnerable. If he keeps this up, Russia might crush them for good. The ball is in Zelenskyy’s court—apologize and make a deal, or watch his country fall.
