Xi’s Crackdown: China Targets Christians as Churches Face Extinction

China’s communist dictator Xi Jinping just slammed the door on Christian missionaries. Starting May 1, foreign believers can’t preach, start churches, or even share Bibles. Xi says it’s about “national security,” but patriots know it’s about crushing faith that challenges his iron rule.

The new laws ban foreign missionaries from teaching God’s Word without government permission. No starting Bible schools. No handing out Christian books. No donations to help the poor. China’s regime wants total control—like they’re scared of the Truth. Even sermons must be approved by communist officials.

Xi claims he’s protecting “normal religious activities.” Don’t believe it. “Normal” means only state-run fake churches that praise the CCP. Real Christians meeting in homes? Xi calls them “cults” and sends police. This isn’t about safety—it’s about wiping out Jesus.

This crackdown isn’t new. Xi’s been pushing to “Sinicize” religion since 2016. He wants churches to bow to the Party, not God. State-run groups like the Three-Self Church are just propaganda tools. True believers refuse to sell out.

Foreign pastors can’t preach unless communist bosses invite them. Every word they say gets censored. Bibles get edited to remove verses the CCP hates. Xi’s goal? A church that worships him, not Christ.

But here’s the miracle—the church in China keeps growing. Persecution hasn’t stopped the Gospel. “No matter what Xi does, the church grows,” says Jeff King, a Christian leader. Underground churches flourish. Bibles spread in secret. Faith beats fear.

Xi’s regime brags about smashing “cults” to protect “stability.” Translation: Anyone who loves God more than the state is a target. Last year, they jailed pastors, raided homes, and burned Bibles. The Global Times, a regime mouthpiece, cheers this oppression.

Chinese Christians won’t back down. They’re showing the world what real courage looks like—standing firm while dictators rage. Xi can ban missionaries, but he can’t ban the Holy Spirit. The church in China will outlive this evil. Pray for our brothers and sisters.
