Gov. Ron DeSantis flew two aircraft of illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard, a favorite of liberal elites like Barack Obama.
Greg Abbott didn't disappoint. Two buses of illegal immigrants were dropped off at Kamala Harris' home Thursday morning. The vice president had declared the border "secure" days before.

Fox News did serious journalism as the mainstream media clutched their pearls. Illegal immigrant: "The border is open" since we entered "free, no problem."

Most illegal immigrants came from Venezuela. They deliberately went north because Texas border communities are overloaded and can't care for them. Who better to take them in than Democrats who've spent a decade championing sanctuary cities and diversity?
Abbot helps illegal immigrants adapt into accepting liberal communities. Given past rhetoric, you'd think so. Leftists call the move brutal and exploitative.
NIMBYism. Progressive radicals seek policies whose implications they won't accept. Democrats support open borders in Rio Grande Valley small towns. When illegal immigrants arrive, they worry about "optics" and "exploitation."
Hypocritical! It ignores the fact that blue cities have more resources to care for illegal immigrants than border towns. How is it not moral to shift the load to other Americans, especially those who caused the border crisis?
Another argument is that sending illegal immigrants far from home is harsh. Do Democrats think border towns are it? They head inside for work. Abbott only provides free transit to wealthy regions. That's great.
Democrats lied about sanctuary policies and illegal immigration, so it doesn't matter. They hoped to limit the problem to border states (mostly Texas because of the terrain). It was a political attempt to hurt their opponents. Now that GOP governors are pushing back, pro-open border activists show their true colors, and it's not pretty.
