Walz Seeks Re-election After National Embarrassment — Time to Move On?

Tim Walz just suffered a crushing defeat as Kamala Harris’s running mate in November. Now this failed politician wants to stick around Minnesota for another four years as governor. After embarrassing himself and our state on the national stage, maybe it’s time for Walz to step aside and let real leaders take charge.

The Minnesota governor lost big time when Americans rejected the Harris-Walz ticket. Instead of taking responsibility for his failed campaign, Walz is already plotting his next political move. He’s telling reporters he might run for a third term as governor in 2026, which shows he just doesn’t get it.

Walz has been a disaster for Minnesota families. During his time in office, he’s pushed dangerous liberal policies that hurt our kids and communities. He signed bills that let biological males compete in girls’ sports and use girls’ bathrooms in schools.

The governor also wasted taxpayer money on failed programs while crime soared in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Small businesses struggled under his heavy-handed COVID lockdowns that crushed the economy. Meanwhile, he gave millions in welfare benefits to illegal immigrants while hardworking Minnesotans suffered.

Now Walz says he won’t run for president in 2028 if he becomes governor again. That’s supposed to be some kind of promise to Minnesota voters. But why should anyone trust a politician who just spent months abandoning his state to chase power in Washington?

Republicans are already lining up to challenge Walz in 2026. Former candidates Scott Jensen and Kendall Qualls have launched their campaigns early. These conservative fighters know Minnesota deserves better than another term of Walz’s failed leadership.

Polls show Minnesota voters are split on whether Walz should even run again. After his national humiliation and terrible record as governor, many folks think it’s time for new blood. The state needs someone who will fight for families, not push woke ideology on our children.

Tim Walz had his chance to prove himself and he blew it spectacularly. Instead of clinging to power, he should do the right thing and step down when his current term ends. Minnesota families deserve a governor who puts America First, not someone who dreams of bigger political prizes while our state falls apart.
