Carl Higbie is telling the hard truth about unions that most politicians are too scared to say. On his NEWSMAX show, the straight-talking host called out how unions have turned into giant power hungry blobs that hurt working Americans. These organizations used to help workers but now they just want more money and control.
Look at what happened with the port workers recently. Fifty thousand union members decided not to show up to work because they wanted a massive 77 percent pay raise. Many of these workers already make over 150 thousand dollars a year, and some earn more than 400 thousand dollars annually.
These union bosses acted like mobsters and held our entire economy hostage. They didn’t care that hurricane victims needed supplies to survive. They didn’t care that families across America couldn’t get the goods they needed for their children.
The United Auto Workers pulled the same selfish stunt against three major car companies. Union leaders demanded outrageous pay increases while regular Americans struggle to afford basic necessities. These strikes hurt the very people unions claim to protect.
Higbie perfectly described these unions as bloated bullies who think they can push around entire industries. They sign contracts to do jobs but then refuse to work when they want more money. This isn’t how honest Americans should behave.
The union bosses like Harold Daggett live like kings while pretending to fight for the little guy. They make millions while their members pay dues and follow their orders to strike. It’s a con game that hurts everyone except the union leadership.
President Reagan showed us the right way to handle these situations when he fired striking air traffic controllers. Companies should tell these greedy unions to go back to work or find new jobs. Automation might replace many of these positions anyway.
Hard working Americans deserve better than these power hungry union schemes. Real patriots work hard, keep their promises, and don’t hold the country hostage for more money. It’s time to put America first instead of union boss greed.
