UN Attacks Israel Again: Claims of War Crimes Slammed as Anti-Semitic Lies

Israel is pushing back hard against a United Nations report that accuses the Jewish state of war crimes while downplaying Hamas terrorism. The controversial report claims Israeli forces destroyed women’s healthcare centers and used sexual violence as a wartime tactic. But Israeli leaders say this is just another anti-Israel smear job by a biased UN body.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blasted the UN Human Rights Council as a “terrorist-supporting” group peddling lies. He pointed out that Israel withdrew from the council last month over its obsession with attacking the Jewish state. The report ignores the real atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7, when terrorists slaughtered 1,200 Israelis and took hundreds hostage. Instead, it invents fake charges against Israel’s military.

Critics call the UN document a modern-day “blood libel” – reviving ancient lies used to justify violence against Jews. Israel’s Foreign Ministry says the report twists facts to demonize the only democracy in the Middle East. They note the UN team relied on shady sources while ignoring evidence of Hamas’ systematic rape and murder of Israeli women.

The UN Commission of Inquiry has a long history of anti-Israel bias. Its leader, Navi Pillay, has repeatedly accused Israel of “apartheid” and supports boycotts against the Jewish state. This latest report continues a pattern of UN agencies giving terrorists a free pass while inventing crimes to smear Israel.

American leaders are standing with Israel against this UN hypocrisy. US Ambassador Elise Stefanik condemned the report as “antisemitic slander” that whitewashes Hamas’ brutality. Congress is moving to cut funding for these biased UN investigations through the COI Elimination Act.

While the UN fixates on false charges, Hamas continues holding Israeli hostages in Gaza tunnels. The terrorist group still fires rockets at Israeli cities and uses Palestinian civilians as human shields. Yet the UN report absurdly claims Israel is responsible for “genocidal acts” by defending itself against genocidal enemies.

This isn’t about human rights – it’s about destroying Israel’s right to exist. The UN Human Rights Council has passed more resolutions against Israel than against China, Iran, and North Korea combined. Their so-called investigators ignore real human rights abusers to single out the Middle East’s only free society.

The report’s allegations crumble under scrutiny. Israel’s military strictly follows international law and investigates any misconduct. Meanwhile, Hamas terrorists proudly film their war crimes. The UN’s obsession with attacking Israel exposes its moral bankruptcy and irrelevance in confronting real evil.
