President Trump promised tariffs would bring billions to America, and he was absolutely right. The numbers prove his America First trade policies are working exactly as he said they would. Liberal critics who said tariffs would hurt our economy have been proven dead wrong.
The United States collected a record $31.4 billion in tariff revenue just in August 2025. That’s the biggest monthly haul we’ve seen all year. Total tariff revenue for 2025 has already topped $183.6 billion and we’re not even done yet.
The money keeps pouring in month after month. We went from $17.4 billion in April to $31.4 billion in August. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says we could collect up to $500 billion or even $1 trillion in tariff revenue.
All this money goes straight into America’s treasury to help fund our government. Instead of borrowing from China or raising taxes on hardworking Americans, we’re making foreign countries pay their fair share. This is exactly what Trump meant when he said America would start winning again.
For too long, China and other countries ripped us off in trade deals. They flooded our markets with cheap goods while blocking American products. Now we’re fighting back and making them pay taxes to sell their stuff here.
The so-called experts said tariffs would destroy our economy and hurt American families. They were completely wrong, just like they’ve been wrong about everything else Trump does. The revenue numbers don’t lie – this policy is a huge success.
Some liberal judges tried to stop Trump’s tariffs, but the Supreme Court will have the final say. Attorney General Pam Bondi is fighting hard to keep these tariffs in place. The tariffs stay active through October while the legal battle continues.
