While liberal lawyers claim Trump lacks authority, Blackburn understands that something must be done about DC’s crime crisis.
Crime has plagued Washington for too long under Democrat leadership. Robberies, carjackings, and violent attacks happen regularly in our nation’s capital. This is embarrassing for America and dangerous for everyone who lives and works there.

The final straw came when thugs attacked a government worker in an attempted carjacking. This brave American was serving in Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency when criminals targeted him. Enough is enough.
Trump promised to make DC safe and beautiful again, and he means it. He’s already ordered increased federal law enforcement presence in the city. This is what real leadership looks like – taking action instead of making excuses.
While Democrats whine about Trump’s authority, Americans want results. Blackburn and other conservatives understand that fixing DC requires strong federal action. It’s time to put law and order first and politics second.
