President Trump is absolutely right to call Chicago what it is – a hell hole. Over Labor Day weekend alone, nearly 60 people were shot and at least 9 were killed in the Windy City. This is what happens when liberal Democrats run cities into the ground.
Trump made it crystal clear from the Oval Office on Tuesday that he will send National Guard troops to clean up Chicago’s streets. He said we’re going in, and when the President of the United States makes a promise, he keeps it. The only question is when, not if.
Governor J.B. Pritzker continues to play politics while his own people are getting gunned down. He refuses to ask Trump for help because he suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome. Pritzker actually claims there’s no emergency and that they’re succeeding at fighting crime.
What kind of success is 60 people shot in one weekend? Pritzker is so blinded by his hatred of Trump that he won’t protect his own citizens. This is the same failed thinking that has destroyed every major Democrat city in America.
Trump pointed out that even war-torn places like Afghanistan don’t come close to Chicago’s violence levels. When 20 people are killed in two and a half weeks and 75 are shot with bullets, something has to be done. The President has an obligation to protect Americans.
Look at what Trump accomplished right here in Washington D.C. He turned it into a safe zone with almost no crime. The nation’s capital is now in great shape because Trump took action when others failed.
The people of Chicago deserve better than liberal politicians who care more about opposing Trump than saving lives. These are hardworking Americans who just want to live safely in their own neighborhoods. They shouldn’t have to dodge bullets because their governor won’t swallow his pride.
Trump’s message to Chicago and every other Democrat-run city is simple – you don’t have to live like this. Real leadership means putting American lives before political games, and that’s exactly what President Trump is doing.
