Trump Transforms DC: Crime Plummets with National Guard Surge

President Trump just proved what real leadership looks like in Washington DC. After taking federal control of the city’s police force and deploying National Guard troops, crime has dropped like a rock. The results speak for themselves.

In just 12 days, Trump turned America’s most dangerous capital into what he calls a “crime free zone.” The numbers don’t lie. Robberies and car break-ins fell by 40 percent almost overnight.

Federal agents arrested over 700 criminals and seized 91 illegal guns in less than two weeks. They caught MS-13 gang members, child predators, and drug dealers who were terrorizing innocent Americans. These are the worst of the worst finally getting what they deserve.

Trump deployed 800 National Guard soldiers to patrol DC streets around the clock. He also moved ICE agents from other duties to help clean up the mess. This is what happens when you actually enforce the law instead of making excuses.

The city had become a war zone under weak Democratic leadership. DC’s murder rate hit 27.54 per 100,000 people in 2024. Car thefts were three times the national average at over 840 per 100,000 residents.

Liberal politicians spent years telling us crime was just a fact of life in big cities. Trump proved them wrong in less than two weeks. When you stop coddling criminals and start arresting them, crime disappears fast.

American families deserve safe streets in their own capital city. No parent should fear walking near the White House or Capitol building. Trump delivered the security that Democrats promised but never provided.

This is exactly why Americans voted for Trump again. He gets results while career politicians make speeches. DC is now proof that strong leadership and tough enforcement work every single time.
