Trump Takes Bold Action Against Drug Cartels, Strikes Venezuelan Boats

President Trump just showed the world that America will not tolerate drug dealers poisoning our communities. Our military struck a second Venezuelan boat loaded with cocaine and deadly fentanyl heading for American shores. The evidence was clear as day with big bags of drugs scattered across the ocean after the strike.

Trump deployed the biggest military task force to the Caribbean in years to stop these narco-terrorists. We sent missile cruisers, helicopter carriers, submarines, and over 4,000 brave sailors and marines to protect our borders. Five F-35 fighter jets were also positioned in Costa Rica to back up our forces.

The fake outrage from Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro and Colombian President Gustavo Petro is laughable. These same leaders have allowed their countries to become drug superhighways flooding America with poison. When they cry about sovereignty, they ignore how their drug cartels violate our sovereignty every single day.

Petro called our military action murder, but what about the thousands of Americans murdered by the fentanyl these boats carry. Every parent who lost a child to overdose knows the real murderers are the cartels and the corrupt politicians who protect them. Trump is finally fighting back against these killers.

Colombia lost millions in American aid because they failed to stop drug trafficking despite decades of our help. Why should hardworking American taxpayers fund countries that cannot or will not control their drug exports. Trump made the right call to decertify them as an ally.

The drug war has been a disaster because previous presidents were too weak to take real action. Trump understands that sometimes you need overwhelming force to stop criminals who only respect strength. These cartels have declared war on America and Trump is fighting back.

Some critics worry about escalation, but the escalation already happened when cartels started flooding our streets with fentanyl. Every day we wait, more Americans die from overdoses in small towns and big cities across our nation. Trump is putting America first like he promised.

Our military struck boats carrying drugs, not innocent civilians taking Sunday cruises. These were hardened criminals running drugs for violent cartels that terrorize entire regions. When drug dealers choose to attack America, they should expect American strength in response.
