The Washington Free Beacon reported that Mexican authorities helped the illegal immigrants, who were traveling in a large group, cross the river into the U.S. Authorities reportedly escorted about 20 buses full of migrants into the city of Juarez, which is across the border from El Paso.
The large group of immigrants, which the Daily Mail referred to as the largest in history, has already caused severe overcrowding in El Paso's shelters and hotels.
