The Biden Administration Gave $44 Billion To States That Put CRT Into Schools

State governments that implemented Critical Race Theory (CRT) in their education districts received $44 billion of President Biden's COVID-19 relief plan, according to One Nation America (ONA).

More than $120 billion was spent on the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSERF) because to the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan (ARP) (ESSER). As a conservative policy advocacy group, ONA found evidence of ARP ESSER funding for CRT programs such as implicit bias training for employees and programs promoting equality and diversity.

Each and every social interaction and individual is viewed by CRT as racially motivated by the students. To achieve "antiracism," it encourages the elimination of merit, objective truth, and race-based policy.

An ARP paper was issued by the Department of Energy after Vice President Biden signed it into law in March 2021. Schools should address "xenophobic and racial discrimination" and other reasons "families of color identify for not returning to in-person schooling," the Department of Education said in a study.

CRT indoctrinates students with the idea that everyone and everything is racially motivated in some way. Dismantling merit, objective truth, and race-based policies to accomplish "antiracism" is the goal of this movement.

After Biden signed the law in March 2021, the DOE produced a report outlining how states should go about using ARP funds. To address "xenophobic and racist harassment" and other reasons "families of color have expressed for not returning to in-person learning," the DOE report recommended that states address these concerns.

ARP ESSER reportedly gave the CDE $15.1 billion, according to Fox News. ARP ESSER proposed that California allocate more than $1.5 billion to local education authorities for training in unconscious prejudice.

It is recommended that funding be increased for "anti-bias tactics," "environmental literacy," "ethnic studies," and "LGBTQ+ cultural competency," among other things.

More over $5 billion in ARP ESSER funds went to Illinois, and the state's reopening plan placed a high value on teaching students about "anti-racism." Funds were set aside for the "interrupted learning and support groups disproportionately impacted by the epidemic" to be addressed, according to the IDE.

For a "comprehensive, culturally responsive universal curriculum," Chicago Public Schools got $32 million from ARP ESSER.

ARP ESSER was also used in Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Jersey, according to the ONA report.

To the Daily Caller News Foundation, the Department of Energy of the United States stated, "The Department neither dictates nor encourages the use of American Rescue Plan funds to teach any certain curriculum."

CDE and ISBE didn't react promptly to DCNF's request for comment.
