Tesla Protests Flop as Supporters Rally Behind Musk and Trump

This weekend’s global “Tesla Takedown” protests drew crowds opposing Elon Musk’s government role, but critics say the movement backfired. Supporters of President Trump and Musk organized “Tesla Shield” counterprotests, waving flags and chanting “USA” outside dealerships. Conservative commentator Dave Rubin blasted the anti-Tesla activists, calling their vandalism “domestic terrorism” and urging strict punishment for lawbreakers.

No Cap On God’s street interviews at a New York protest revealed confusion among demonstrators. One protester struggled to explain Musk’s policies, while another compared him to Hitler without evidence. Rubin shared the clips, mocking the activists as clueless and unserious.

Despite claims of peaceful intent, fires destroyed Tesla vehicles in Germany and Tennessee. Attorney General Pam Bondi called the attacks “terrorism,” while Musk urged vandals to “stop acting psycho.” Police increased patrols, but anarchist groups still targeted charging stations.

Tesla owners fought back by activating Sentry Mode surveillance systems. Experts advised parking cars safely and reporting suspicious activity. “If you see something, say something,” said former SWAT captain Schirard, praising citizens who defended dealerships.

Protesters in Minnesota waved signs like “DEPORT ELON,” blaming Musk for election meddling. But local reports showed most drivers honked in support of Tesla, not the activists. A growing number of EV owners slapped anti-Musk bumper stickers on their cars instead of joining rallies.

Musk remains unfazed, predicting Tesla will sell 10 million vehicles next year. Sales dipped briefly after DOGE controversies, but loyal customers still flock to showrooms. Conservative buyers see Teslas as symbols of American innovation, not corporate greed.

The Rubin Report highlighted the protest movement’s hypocrisy. While organizers claim to fight “fascism,” their rallies featured communist flags and calls for street violence. Rubin joked that confused activists “can’t even explain why they’re mad.”

As Tesla stocks rebound, analysts say the protests boosted Musk’s fame. His alliance with Trump energizes the base, while left-wing rage only fuels conservative resolve. The “Takedown” flop proves most Americans still trust innovators over agitators.
