The U.S. government sent thousands of dangerous virus samples to China’s Wuhan lab over ten years. This reckless move ignored safety rules and put America at risk. Our tax dollars funded this project while China hid military ties to the same lab.
USAID shipped nearly 11,000 virus samples to the Wuhan lab without proper approval. These included human, bat, and rodent viruses collected from Yunnan Province. No safety checks stopped China from using them for bioweapons.
This happened under a program called PREDICT run by UC-Davis. It cost taxpayers $250 million to hunt new viruses worldwide. When funding stopped in 2019, they dumped every sample in Wuhan’s freezers.
China’s Wuhan lab works secretly with their military. They experimented on animals for communist soldiers since at least 2017. Beijing lies about its bioweapons program while our officials looked away.
America got nothing in return for handing over these deadly samples. China refused to share lab notes or records with U.S. investigators. Our enemies could turn these viruses against us thanks to government stupidity.
The timing stinks. The U.S. ended the virus program in late 2019—right before COVID exploded from Wuhan. American leaders ignored clear warnings about China’s unsafe labs while our people paid the price.
This scandal shows the rot in our government. Bureaucrats sent our most dangerous biological materials to a hostile nation. They cared more about China’s feelings than protecting American lives.
Patriots demand accountability for this betrayal. We must shut down every project that sends U.S. resources to communist China. Never again should our tax dollars fund threats against our own citizens.
