Supreme Court Rules States Can Defund Planned Parenthood—A Win for Taxpayers

The Supreme Court just gave states a big win. They ruled states can kick Planned Parenthood out of Medicaid. This means taxpayer money won’t fund clinics linked to abortion. Conservatives have fought for this for years.

States now have the power to defund Planned Parenthood. The court said Medicaid patients can’t sue over this. South Carolina already blocked them, and other states will follow.

This ruling protects taxpayers who oppose abortion. Their money won’t go to clinics that end unborn lives. States can fund real healthcare instead.

The vote was 6-3, with all conservative justices agreeing. They said the law doesn’t let patients sue. This respects states’ rights.

Planned Parenthood loses Medicaid funds for birth control and cancer screenings. But that’s because they also do abortions. Taxpayers shouldn’t fund that.

A top lawyer said, “States are now free to redirect dollars.” Americans don’t want abortions funded. This lets states choose life-affirming care.

This is a major victory for life. States can support healthcare that helps families. Tax dollars should protect life, not destroy it.

The court made the right call. States can now stand for life. Taxpayer money will support real healthcare, not abortion.
