King’s hateful post came just hours after Kirk was tragically killed. The Turning Point USA founder had been gunned down, leaving behind a wife and two young children. Instead of showing respect, King chose to spread lies about a grieving family.
Conservative Americans immediately fought back against King’s disgusting attack. Senator Ted Cruz called King a “horrible, evil, twisted liar” and demanded he tell the truth. Thousands of patriots on social media slammed the author for his shameless lies about Kirk.
Dave Rubin delivered the most powerful response of all. The gay conservative host revealed that Kirk had always treated him and his husband with complete respect and kindness. Rubin said Kirk even visited their home and shared meals with them, proving King’s claims were total garbage.
King was forced to apologize after getting destroyed by angry Americans. He deleted his original post and admitted he was wrong about Kirk. But his weak apology did not undo the damage he caused to Kirk’s memory and family.

The timing of King’s attack makes it even more disgusting. Kirk was murdered just hours before, and his family was still in shock and grief. Yet King could not wait to dance on his grave with made-up stories and hateful lies.
