South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson is taking a stand for common sense and parental rights. He asked the Supreme Court to stop a radical federal court decision that forces schools to let boys use girls bathrooms. The 4th Circuit Court of Appeals made this terrible ruling that puts our children at risk.
A 14-year-old girl who thinks she’s a boy sued to use the boys bathroom at her Berkeley County school. Liberal judges sided with her and ordered the school to break state law. Now the school district is caught between following state law or obeying activist judges.
South Carolina passed a smart law that says students must use bathrooms based on their biological sex. This protects the privacy and safety of all students in our schools. The state budget even cuts funding for schools that don’t follow this rule.
Wilson called the court ruling “judicial activism at its worst” and he’s absolutely right. Unelected liberal judges are trying to override what parents and elected lawmakers decided. They want to force their woke agenda on our kids no matter what we think.
This case affects way more than just one school or one confused student. It’s about whether states can protect children or if federal judges will run our schools. Every parent should care about this fight for our kids.
The timing couldn’t be better for South Carolina’s appeal. The Supreme Court just ruled in favor of Tennessee’s ban on transgender medical treatments for minors. This shows the high court is ready to stop the trans madness in our schools too.
Wilson is also running for governor and this case shows he’s a real fighter for conservative values. He understands that 99.8% of normal students shouldn’t have to bend the knee for 0.02% who are confused about their gender. Our tax dollars shouldn’t fund schools that put ideology over safety.
This Supreme Court case will decide if states can still protect their children from the transgender agenda. Every American who believes in common sense should hope Wilson wins this fight. Our kids deserve better than being forced into liberal social experiments.
