Zohran Mamdani won the Democratic primary for New York City mayor. This socialist candidate will bring radical policies if elected. His ideas sound good but would actually harm hardworking New Yorkers.
Mamdani is only 33 and lacks real experience. He has been a state assemblyman for just a few years. That’s not enough to run America’s biggest city.
His platform includes free buses and rent freezes. That sounds nice but someone must pay. His solution is taxing businesses and successful people more. That will drive jobs out of our city.
He even wants the government to run grocery stores. That’s straight from the socialist playbook. Government can’t fix the subway but now it’ll run supermarkets?
Mamdani has attacked Israel and our allies. He’d arrest their prime minister if he visited New York. That’s an insult to America’s closest friend in the Middle East.
He’s backed by radicals like AOC and Bernie Sanders. These are the same people who want to defund the police. They don’t care about keeping our streets safe.
His campaign got money from thousands of small donors. But that doesn’t make his ideas right. Socialism always fails when the money runs out.
New Yorkers must reject this dangerous path in November. We need leaders who understand business and safety. Not socialist experiments that wreck our city.
