New Yorkers face a scary future with socialist Zohran Mamdani running for mayor. His radical ideas would wreck our great city. Businesses are already planning to leave because they know what’s coming.
Mamdani wants to force a $30 minimum wage by 2030. He also plans to freeze rents for everyone. These ideas sound nice but would crush small businesses and landlords.
To pay for his schemes, Mamdani would hike taxes on job creators. He’d raise corporate taxes to 11.5% and slap a 2% tax on anyone making over $1 million. This money grab would drive away the very people who create jobs.
The socialist doesn’t even have the power to do most of this. Governor Hochul opposes tax hikes, and the state legislature would block him. His promises are empty dreams that can’t become real.
Billionaire Bill Ackman got it right: Mamdani’s policies would be disastrous. Socialism always fails. Taking money from hard workers to fund handouts kills the drive to succeed.
Mamdani uses phrases like “seizing the means of production.” That’s straight from the communist playbook. It shows he wants government control over everything, destroying freedom and choice.
If Mamdani wins, businesses will flee New York City. Jobs will vanish and prices will soar. The mass exodus has already started because smart people see the danger.
