Zohran Mamdani, the socialist Democratic nominee for New York City mayor, traveled to Washington D.C. to court support from far-left politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. This cozy meeting with extremist allies shows he’s more focused on radical politics than solving real problems for hardworking New Yorkers. His dangerous agenda includes massive tax hikes and policies that would bankrupt our great city.
Mamdani wants to raise taxes on job creators and families earning over $1 million, crushing the economy. He plans a $30 minimum wage by 2030 that would force small businesses to shut down. His socialist dream includes city-run grocery stores and 200,000 government housing units, turning NYC into a failed experiment like Venezuela.
His tax plans ignore how Trump’s tax cuts helped Americans keep more of their money. Mamdani falsely claims his scheme would leave top earners paying less, but that’s a lie to hide his tax-and-spend madness. Governor Hochul rightly opposes these job-killing ideas that would drive families and businesses out of New York.
Mamdani’s radicalism includes open support for antisemitic slogans like “globalize the Intifada.” While he now claims he’ll “discourage” the phrase after pressure, he still backs its violent message. This shows he can’t be trusted to keep Jewish New Yorkers safe or stand with our ally Israel.
At a meeting with business leaders, Mamdani tried to downplay his extremism. But his refusal to fully condemn anti-Jewish hate exposes his true colors. New York deserves leaders who protect all citizens, not radicals who flirt with dangerous ideas.
Meanwhile, Andrew Cuomo jumped back into the race, calling on weaker candidates to drop out. He knows Mamdani’s radical agenda would destroy the city. But Mayor Eric Adams refuses to step aside, creating a messy three-way fight that helps the socialist.
The November election is a clear choice between sanity and Mamdani’s socialist nightmare. His plans for tax hikes, government control, and radical policies would turn NYC into a crime-ridden, bankrupt ghost town. Patriots must unite to stop this dangerous extremist.
Our city can’t afford a mayor who pals around with anti-American radicals while pushing job-killing policies. Mamdani’s vision would devastate the economy and make New York unsafe. It’s time to reject socialism and save our city.
