Senator John Kennedy delivered a fiery warning to criminals targeting ICE agents. He demanded harsh prison time for anyone attacking these officers. Kennedy said attackers should “spend quality time with Bubba” behind bars.
Assaults on ICE agents have skyrocketed this year. The Department of Homeland Security reports an 830% surge in attacks since January. That’s nearly ten times more violence against our border protectors.
Kennedy blasted the lawlessness during a Fox News interview. He declared, “If you put hands on an ICE officer, you should be prosecuted and sent to jail.” The Louisiana Republican warned that weak consequences encourage more attacks.
This violence follows ICE raids in major cities like Los Angeles. Riots broke out after arrests of illegal immigrants. Democrats shamefully demanded ICE stop doing its job instead of backing our brave agents.
Liberal politicians made things worse by pushing sanctuary city policies. Los Angeles’ mayor actually strengthened sanctuary rules after the riots. This puts politics above the safety of our officers.
Kennedy stressed that illegal immigration is, well, illegal. He mocked open-border supporters having “panic attacks” over enforcement. Common sense says you enforce laws to keep order.
The senator nailed the solution: prosecute every attacker aggressively. Until thugs face real consequences, assaults will continue. America must back our ICE heroes unconditionally.
Real patriots stand with those protecting our borders. Kennedy’s tough stance defends the rule of law. It’s time to support our officers and lock up anyone who threatens them.
