Sen. Kennedy Slams Walz: “Less Masculine Version of Hillary Clinton

Senator John Kennedy laid into Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on Hannity this week, leaving no doubt about where conservatives stand on law and order. Kennedy didn’t mince words, calling Walz a “less masculine version of Hillary Clinton” while excoriating the governor for his handling of federal immigration enforcement. The exchange was raw, pointed, and exactly the kind of no-nonsense critique Americans tired of open-border politics need to hear.

The heated rhetoric comes against the backdrop of a massive ICE operation in Minnesota that has inflamed local politics and sparked nationwide protests, including reports of deadly confrontations that have the public demanding answers. Federal enforcement actions have been met with fury from local officials who accuse agents of brutality even as authorities say the operation targeted criminal illegal aliens. This is the chaos that happens when sanctuary policies meet federal law enforcement—and ordinary citizens pay the price.

Walz publicly urged that federal agents be pulled out of Minnesota and blamed the enforcement presence for escalating tensions, a stance that amounts to putting political theater ahead of public safety. Democrats like Walz talk tough about compassion while refusing to support the basic cooperation that keeps communities safe. It’s a raw example of the double standard: virtue-signaling for the base while ignoring the victims of failed immigration policy.

Kennedy rightly pointed out the moral and legal hypocrisy: illegal immigration is illegal, and no one who breaks the law should be above it because of partisan sympathies. He called out activists who obstruct ICE operations and urged Republicans to stop ceding the argument to radical left agitators who treat law enforcement like the enemy. If you value the rule of law, you have to stand with officers doing a dangerous job instead of cheering on mobs that put them—and everyone else—in harm’s way.

More than insults are needed; Kennedy urged concrete action, pressing Senate leadership to bring bills to the floor to end sanctuary policies and restore common-sense cooperation between local police and federal immigration authorities. This isn’t a partisan luxury, it’s a matter of public safety and respect for the American people who expect their leaders to protect them first. Tough laws and clear enforcement are the only way to stop the cycle of violence and political grandstanding.

Patriots shouldn’t be fooled by the Democrats’ crocodile tears; what we’re seeing is a calculated campaign to undermine enforcement while claiming the moral high ground. It’s time for conservatives to push back hard—support our brave men and women in uniform, demand accountability from governors who play politics with public safety, and pass the legislation that will finally end the sanctuary experiment. The safety of our neighborhoods and the honor of our laws deserve nothing less.
