A vicious killer is still on the loose after brutally murdering two innocent parents in front of their young children. Clinton and Cristen Brink were just trying to enjoy a family hike at Devil’s Den State Park in Arkansas when a monster attacked them. Their two little girls, ages 7 and 9, watched their parents die protecting them.
This is exactly why we need strong law enforcement and tough penalties for violent criminals. The Brinks died as heroes, shielding their babies from this savage attack. No family should ever have to go through this nightmare while enjoying our beautiful state parks.
Arkansas State Police have released a sketch and photo of the suspect who was seen in the park that day. The coward was wearing dark clothes, sunglasses, and fingerless gloves like he planned this attack. Police say he was likely injured when these brave parents fought back to save their children.
It has been four days since this horrific crime and this animal is still walking free. Every moment he remains loose puts more innocent families at risk. Our law enforcement officers are working around the clock, but they need our help to catch this killer.
The Brink family had just moved to Arkansas from out of state, probably looking for the safe, family-friendly life our state offers. Instead, they met pure evil on what should have been a peaceful Saturday afternoon. This is not the Arkansas we know and love.
These children will grow up without their mom and dad because some sick individual decided to destroy their lives. The suspect may be injured, but he is still extremely dangerous. Anyone who sees this man needs to call police immediately and not try to approach him.
