Russia Advances in Ukraine; Trump’s Peace Talks Flounder

Russian forces are making big gains in Ukraine right now. They’re taking more land every week and hitting Ukrainian cities with bombs and drones. Peace talks led by former President Trump aren’t working, and the war is getting worse.

Russian troops broke through Ukrainian defenses near Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka. These cities could soon be surrounded by Russian soldiers. If that happens, Ukraine might lose two important places in Donetsk.

Down south, Russian forces are close to capturing all of Southern Donetsk. They’ve already moved into Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, pushing deeper into Ukraine. This could cut Ukraine’s supply lines and trap more soldiers.

Up north, Russia is attacking near Sumy with North Korean help. Russian troops are just 20 kilometers from the city. Putin himself threatened to take Sumy if he wants to, showing his plans are growing.

Last week alone, Russia grabbed 72 square miles of Ukrainian land. That’s twice as fast as the week before. They also launched 477 drones and 60 missiles in one night, the biggest air attack of the war.

Ukraine is in real danger of collapse. Russian advances are happening on multiple fronts at once. Ukrainian soldiers are running low on weapons and fighters. The summer heat makes fighting even harder for them.

Trump’s peace plan has gone nowhere. His phone calls with Putin haven’t stopped the fighting. American leadership feels weak right now, with no strong plan to protect Ukraine or punish Russia.

We need powerful American action to stop Putin. Half measures and talk won’t save Ukraine. Only real strength and clear American leadership can turn this tide and protect freedom in Europe.
