Radicals Invade Twin Cities Church: DOJ Launches Probe

A mob of anti-ICE agitators barged into a house of worship in the Twin Cities and turned a Sunday service into a political stunt, and the only proper response from a law-and-order administration is a full federal investigation. No American should tolerate churches being treated like protest amphitheaters while pastors and families try to pray in peace.

Video from the scene shows dozens of protesters shouting and confronting worshippers at Cities Church in St. Paul, apparently believing one of the pastors was tied to ICE operations that have been the subject of heated local controversy. The disturbance followed weeks of unrest after the tragic death of Renee Nicole Good, a context the media won’t stop lecturing us about while excusing lawlessness.

Former CNN anchor Don Lemon livestreamed much of the chaos and has doubled down on his presence, insisting he was simply “covering” the protest and declaring, “I stand by my reporting.” That defense rings hollow to decent Americans who watched a national media figure cozy up to radical activists and treat a sanctuary like a scene to be exploited for clicks.

Multiple outlets and video evidence show Lemon embedded with activists before the disruption, raising real questions about whether this was journalism or active enabling of a political mob. Independent footage and reporting indicate organizers planned to “pull up” on venues linked to federal officers, and mainstream media stars should not get a pass when they act as cheerleaders for intimidation.

Praise is due where it’s earned: the Department of Justice moved quickly to open a civil-rights probe, and Attorney General officials have signaled they will use the FACE Act and other statutes to hold lawbreakers accountable. Conservatives who believe in religious liberty and the rule of law should be glad Washington is taking the threat to worshippers seriously instead of shrugging like so many local left-wing officials.

Make no mistake, the statutes being discussed are there for a reason — to stop people from using intimidation and force to silence worship or to harass federal officers doing their jobs. If these incidents are left unpunished, the message sent to mobs is that sacred spaces and decent Americans’ safety are expendable in the name of political theater.

This episode should be a wake-up call for every patriot: defend our churches, back our law enforcement, and demand accountability from media elites who act like activists. The American people will not let the radicals win by eroding the liberties and institutions that bind our communities together.
