America has a serious problem with Qatar. This tiny Gulf nation plays both sides of the war on terror while Washington looks the other way. Our leaders roll out red carpets for Qatari royals who fund the same terrorists trying to kill American soldiers.
Qatar hosts our biggest military base in the Middle East. At the same time, they bankroll Hamas terrorists and al-Qaeda operatives around the world. This is like letting an arsonist run the fire department while he burns down your neighborhood.
Congressional reports show Qatar supported four major terror groups in 2001 alone. They gave weapons to Islamic militants in Libya and Egypt. They even helped move millions of dollars to ISIS fighters in multiple countries through secret money networks.
The Treasury Department calls Qatar a permissive jurisdiction for terror financing. That means Qatari officials let terrorists move dirty money through their banks without asking questions. Yet we still treat them like trusted allies instead of the enemy supporters they really are.
Our foreign policy establishment refuses to hold Qatar accountable. They care more about oil deals and military contracts than protecting American lives. Meanwhile, Qatar builds golf courses for former presidents while funding groups that chant Death to America.
The evidence against Qatar is overwhelming according to security experts. Multiple government agencies have documented their terror connections for over two decades. But the deep state keeps making excuses and covering up the truth from hardworking taxpayers.
This cozy relationship makes zero sense to patriotic Americans. We should not be partners with any nation that funds our enemies. Every dollar Qatar sends to terrorists makes our military families less safe.
It is time to end this dangerous double game. America must choose between appeasing wealthy Gulf monarchs or protecting our own people. Real leaders would have already cut ties with these terror-funding fake allies.
