PI Debunks Drowning Theory: Suspicious Gaps in Konanki Case

A private investigator who worked on the Natalee Holloway case says there’s more to the disappearance of Sudiksha Konanki than meets the eye. T.J. Ward, known for his work on high-profile missing persons cases, claims drowning is “one of the least likely scenarios” for the 20-year-old University of Pittsburgh student’s vanishing in the Dominican Republic. His analysis points to troubling gaps in the official story.

Ward highlights the man last seen with Konanki as a key focus. Security footage shows this individual stayed on the beach with her until 4:15 a.m. on March 6. His story about being swept away by a wave has changed multiple times, raising red flags. “If she’s in the water, someone put her there,” Ward stated bluntly. He compared the situation to Holloway’s case, where a suspect’s shifting narrative eventually led to a confession.

Authorities found Konanki’s clothes neatly folded on a beach bed near the water. Ward questions how a drowning victim’s belongings would remain undisturbed. He’s pushing for closer scrutiny of resort security cameras and witness testimonies. The FBI’s involvement shows this isn’t just a routine search.

The case exposes concerns about spring break safety in foreign countries. With over 11 million tourists visiting the Dominican Republic yearly, Ward stresses the need for American families to stay vigilant. He advises travelers to partner with trusted locals when trouble strikes abroad. Konanki’s parents continue pleading for answers as the mystery deepens.
