Pentagon Waste Exposed: Millions Vanish While Troops Suffer

Carl Higbie is sounding the alarm on how the Pentagon burns through taxpayer dollars. The conservative commentator and former Navy SEAL ripped into military spending failures during a recent episode of his Newsmax show. His blunt breakdown exposed shocking examples of waste that’ll make your blood boil.

Higbie highlighted a Navy project where boats were delivered years late and completely unusable. The vessels had never been tested and arrived riddled with problems. Instead of demanding refunds, the Navy shrugged and ordered more boats from the same contractor. Taxpayers got stuck with the bill for broken equipment and more expensive replacements.

The waste doesn’t stop there. The government spent $10 million to keep nearly empty buildings running. Maintenance crews outnumbered actual workers in these ghost offices. Higbie called it a perfect example of bureaucrats lighting money on fire while regular Americans struggle.

Another head-scratcher? The Department of Energy blew $15.5 billion pushing electric cars through PR campaigns and charging stations nobody uses. This comes on top of existing subsidies and tax credits. Higbie joked that this “green” spending probably lined some lobbyist’s pockets instead of helping working families.

Foreign projects got roasted too. Millions went to secure Paraguay’s borders while our own southern border remains wide open. Farmers here can’t afford fertilizer, but $20 million bought manure research in Pakistan and Vietnam. Higbie asked why we’re solving other countries’ problems before our own.

The Pentagon’s seventh failed audit adds fuel to the fire. Higbie slammed military leaders for losing track of billions while troops face equipment shortages. He compared defense contracts to a corrupt DMV process that gets soldiers killed through delays and red tape.

Conservatives are demanding accountability. Higbie wants clawbacks from contractors who deliver junk and jail time for bureaucrats who approve these boondoggles. He argues this reckless spending proves why we need massive cuts to the federal budget and stricter oversight.

The bottom line? Higbie says every dollar wasted on failed projects is stolen from hardworking taxpayers. Until Washington gets serious about slashing spending, the military-industrial complex will keep robbing Americans blind. It’s time to drain the swamp and put America’s needs first.
