Pam Bondi Slams Democratic Rep Over Anti-Tesla Protests Threat

Attorney General Pam Bondi delivered a sharp warning to Democratic Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett over her comments targeting Elon Musk and Tesla. Bondi accused Crockett of encouraging attacks on Tesla properties, vowing that protesters would face serious legal consequences. The clash comes as activists plan nationwide demonstrations against Musk’s government cost-cutting efforts.

Crockett sparked controversy by telling supporters her “birthday wish” was to see Musk “taken down” during protests scheduled for March 29. She claimed the demonstrations would be peaceful, but Bondi slammed the rhetoric as reckless. “She needs to tread very carefully,” Bondi said, promising to protect Tesla owners from vandalism and violence. Three protesters already face federal terrorism charges for firebombing dealerships.

The Tesla Takedown movement urges investors to sell stock and boycott the company, blaming Musk for damaging public programs. Crockett sits on a committee overseeing Musk’s government efficiency department, which has slashed federal spending. She argues protesting is necessary to save democracy, but Bondi insists destroying property isn’t free speech—it’s domestic terrorism.

Protesters have attacked Tesla cars and charging stations, with some caught using Molotov cocktails and rifles. Bondi’s Justice Department refuses to drop charges, warning convicted rioters could get 20 years in prison. “Terrorists will be brought to justice,” she declared, linking the violence to anti-Trump political rage.

Crockett fired back, accusing Bondi of twisting her words to silence dissent. She denied supporting violence but celebrated Tesla’s falling stock prices, saying it proves protests work. Meanwhile, Musk allies like Vice President JD Vance claim the attacks aim to intimidate Trump supporters. Musk reshared Vance’s post with American flags, rallying his base.

Critics argue Crockett’s committee role creates a conflict of interest, since she profits politically by attacking Musk. Texas Senator Ted Cruz blasted Democrats for risking jobs and pensions tied to Tesla’s success. Even some liberals worry the protests hurt ordinary investors while Musk remains unharmed.

The fight reflects deeper divides over free speech and law enforcement. Bondi stresses safety for businesses while Crockett frames protests as vital resistance. With tensions rising and more demonstrations planned, authorities are preparing for possible clashes. The outcome could shape how America balances activism with order.

As the March 29 protests near, both sides dig in. Bondi’s warning sends a clear message: burn it down, go to jail. But Crockett’s supporters say speaking truth to power is worth the risk. With Tesla’s future tangled in politics, the real battle isn’t just over cars—it’s over who controls the narrative in a divided country.
