Pam Bondi Demands Justice: Stop Mobs from Invading Churches

Attorney General Pam Bondi made clear what should be obvious to every patriotic American: places of worship are off-limits to political mobs, and the rule of law must be enforced when radicals violate that sanctity. On Sean Hannity she reiterated that people of all religions have an absolute right to worship without fear, and warned there is “more to come” as prosecutions move forward.

Bondi didn’t just posture; federal action followed. Officials announced arrests in connection with the St. Paul invasion of Cities Church, including prominent agitator Nekima Levy Armstrong and another protest leader, Chauntyll Louisa Allen, with prosecutors signaling additional charges are imminent.

These are not garden-variety trespassing cases — federal statutes like 18 U.S.C. 241 and provisions meant to protect free exercise and access to houses of worship are squarely in play, and the Justice Department is looking at the conduct of those who stormed a Sunday service. Americans who believe in religious liberty should applaud any effort to hold violators to account rather than excuse mobs in the name of “protest.”

Meanwhile, the corporate media’s role in fanning the flames cannot be ignored. Former CNN personality Don Lemon livestreamed the chaos and has been widely described as an online agitator who amplified the mob’s actions; federal prosecutors reportedly considered charges, though a magistrate judge recently rejected a criminal complaint against him. The media’s hand-wringing over being “targeted” rings hollow when they helped turn a sacred service into a spectacle.

Let there be no mistake: this is about more than a single episode in Minnesota. When activists and their media enablers treat houses of worship as a stage for political theater, they trample the very freedoms they claim to defend. Conservatives must demand equal enforcement of the law, not selective outrage or preferential treatment for left-wing mobs who think sacred spaces are fair game.

Attorney General Bondi and responsible prosecutors deserve support for standing up to this lawlessness, and the Justice Department must finish what it started by pursuing clear violations without fear or favor. The American people should insist on real accountability for those who storm churches and for the media figures who abetted them, so that worshippers can return to services without looking over their shoulders.

Now is the moment for patriots to defend religious freedom and the rule of law with the same energy the left uses to defend its pet causes. Stand with your neighbors, demand prosecutions where merited, and stop letting the media and radical protest groups weaponize worship and shame our communities into silence.
