Oregon’s Drug Crisis: Senator Merkley Silent as Cartels Run Rampant

Pam Bondi confronted Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley about dangerous drug trafficking operations in his own state. The Attorney General revealed shocking details about a massive Sinaloa Cartel bust in Salem, Oregon. This operation exposed how foreign criminals exploit America’s weak borders.

Federal agents arrested sixteen people in a record-breaking drug bust. Six of those arrested were illegal immigrants living in the United States. This proves how open borders invite deadly cartels into our communities.

Authorities seized enough fentanyl to kill millions of Americans. They also took 35 kilos of methamphetamine and 4.5 kilos of heroin off our streets. These deadly drugs were stamped as oxycodone pills to trick innocent users.

The cartel kingpin Alberto Salazar Amaya lived freely in Salem while running his drug empire. He drove luxury vehicles and hid behind layers of underlings. This Mexican national operated with impunity in a Democratic-led state.

Police confiscated $5 million in cash and 49 firearms from these criminals. The weapons show how drug gangs arm themselves against law enforcement. This firepower could have been used against American families.

Pam Bondi rightly called this a battlefield victory against terrorism. These cartels flood our cities with weapons of mass destruction disguised as pills. Every Democrat who supports open borders shares blame for this poison.

Senator Merkley represents the very state where this cartel leader set up shop. His liberal policies created a safe haven for foreign criminals. Oregon families pay the price for his failed leadership.

Real patriots demand strong borders to keep cartels out. We must back law enforcement who risk everything to protect us. America needs conservative leaders who put citizens first, not criminals.
