NFL Pushes Woke Agenda with Divisive Black National Anthem

The NFL just can’t help itself when it comes to shoving woke politics down our throats. Before Thursday night’s Eagles-Cowboys game, singer Laurin Talese performed “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” which the league calls the “Black National Anthem.” Real Americans watching at home were not impressed.

This divisive stunt started back in 2020 when the NFL bent the knee to Black Lives Matter protesters after George Floyd’s death. Now the league forces this separate anthem on fans who just want to watch football. The message is clear: America apparently needs two national anthems now.

Fans across social media exploded with anger at this racist nonsense. One upset viewer wrote that having a “Black National Anthem” is the most racist thing they’ve ever seen. Even some black fans are fed up, with one saying they don’t need to hear this song because it’s not the real national anthem.

The NFL’s own fans are rejecting this woke garbage, but the league doesn’t care what regular Americans think. Inside the stadium, Talese got a standing ovation from the liberal Philadelphia crowd. But millions of patriotic fans watching at home saw right through this political theater.

This is exactly what’s wrong with professional sports today. Instead of bringing Americans together through the love of the game, the NFL keeps pushing identity politics. They’re telling us that one national anthem isn’t good enough anymore.

The real National Anthem, performed by Boyz II Men, was also heavily criticized by fans who called it one of the worst renditions ever heard. So not only did we get a fake anthem, but they botched the real one too. What a complete disaster for America’s most popular sport.

The NFL has lost its way and forgotten who pays their bills. Working-class Americans who love football don’t want to be lectured about race every time they turn on a game. We want unity, not division based on skin color.

Until the NFL stops this woke nonsense and gets back to football, they’ll keep losing the respect of real Americans. We have one flag, one country, and one national anthem that represents all of us. The NFL needs to remember that before it’s too late.
