New GOP Women’s Caucus Makes Waves, Pledges to Empower Female Voices

A new group for Republican women in Congress is making big waves. Led by Senator Katie Britt and Congresswoman Kat Cammack, the Republican Women’s Caucus launched this week at the White House with President Trump. This first-of-its-kind group unites GOP women from the House and Senate to focus on issues that matter to everyday Americans.

President Trump joined the celebration during Women’s History Month, praising the caucus as a way to fight for policies that protect families and freedoms. Cammack said the caucus will stand up for women who feel ignored by Democrats. She pointed out that Republican women care about safety, jobs, and keeping woke politics out of schools—not just the narrow topics pushed by the left.

Democrats have tried to downplay the effort, claiming they’ve always supported women. But Cammack fired back, saying their old bipartisan women’s group refused to protect girls’ sports from biological males. “That was the wake-up call,” she said. “Women deserve a voice that fights for their rights, not liberal agendas.”

The caucus will focus on conservative priorities like backing police, securing borders, and lowering taxes. Cammack, a mom expecting her first child this summer, stressed that real women’s issues include safe neighborhoods and good schools. “American issues are women’s issues,” she said, slamming Democrats for focusing on divisive ideas instead of kitchen-table problems.

Critics say GOP policies don’t help women, but Cammack highlighted how Trump won record support from women in 2024 by listening to their concerns. She dismissed polls showing Trump struggling with female voters, calling them wrong before and unreliable now. “We saw it in the election—women trust Republicans to fix this country,” she added.

The group also supports IVF access, a personal issue for Cammack. She blasted Democrats for fearmongering about Republican positions, saying, “We stand with families who want children.” This common-sense approach, she argued, shows the GOP is the true party of women.

Unlike past efforts, this caucus rejects working with Democrats who’ve blocked protections for women. Instead, it’ll push bold conservative solutions. Britt and Cammack say this is just the start of a movement to elect more GOP women and restore traditional values.

With the 2024 election proving women back strong leadership, the Republican Women’s Caucus aims to keep that momentum. By focusing on safety, opportunity, and freedom, they’re sending a message: The GOP is where women’s voices matter most.
