New 2024 Poll Shows Shocking Results As DeSantis Vs. Trump Heats Up

Almost half of Republicans and right-wing voters supported Ron DeSantis, while 33 percent of them backed Donald Trump.

Over 60% of respondents indicated that they would like to see a nominee who supports Trump's America First policies, such as economic nationalism and border security, but not the standard-bearer.

A total of 38% of Republicans said they would like to see Trump campaign for a third time. In July, 60% of Republicans said they would like to see Trump seek another term.

Almost 60% of Republican voters would like to see Ron DeSantis enter the primary for the governor's position in Florida. Twenty-four percent said they would like to see him stay in office.

The results of the survey showed that Joe Biden leads Donald Trump in a potential 2020 presidential rematch. In October, Trump was only four points behind.

In a hypothetical matchup with DeSantis in 2024, Biden would trail the former Florida governor by four points.

The survey was conducted by Harris Interactive from December 7-11, and it had a 3.1 margin of error. It also included a sample of 374 Republicans and independents.
