Israel just did what America should applaud. Prime Minister Netanyahu authorized a strike against Hamas terrorists hiding in Qatar’s capital city of Doha. The attack targeted the same monsters who planned the October 7th massacre that killed over 1,000 innocent Israelis.
Qatar is crying about their sovereignty being violated. But here’s the real question every American should ask: why is a supposed US ally giving safe harbor to designated terrorists? Qatar hosts one of our biggest military bases in the Middle East, yet they roll out the red carpet for Hamas killers.
Netanyahu made it crystal clear to the world. Any nation that harbors terrorists will face consequences. He compared Israel’s action to America hunting down terrorists in Afghanistan after 9/11, and he’s absolutely right.
President Trump initially said such strikes won’t happen again on Qatari soil. But Netanyahu isn’t backing down one bit. He warned Qatar and every other nation: expel the terrorists or bring them to justice, because if you don’t, Israel will.
The timing of this strike exposes the truth about these so-called peace negotiations. Hamas leaders were meeting to discuss ceasefire proposals while their terror buddies were still firing rockets and killing innocent people. You can’t negotiate with terrorists who want to wipe you off the map.
Qatar’s leaders are calling this “state terrorism” and demanding Arab nations respond. That’s rich coming from a country that bankrolls Hamas and gives them luxury offices to plan more attacks. They’re more upset about Israel defending itself than they are about Hamas murdering civilians.
The international community is predictably wringing their hands about this strike. But where was their outrage when Hamas terrorists shot up a Jerusalem bus stop just days before? Where are their tears for the Israeli hostages still rotting in Gaza tunnels?
Israel is fighting the same war on terror that America has been waging for decades. When terrorists think they’re safe in five-star hotels planning their next massacre, they need to think again. Netanyahu just sent that message loud and clear to every terrorist hideout from Tehran to Doha.
