Miller Exposes Left’s Open-Border Catastrophe: Americans Demand Action

Stephen Miller didn’t mince words when he laid out what every sensible American already knows: the left’s open-border experiment was an abject failure that wrecked communities, strained hospitals, and handed the cartels a recruitment pipeline. He unpacked the consequences plainly on national television, explaining why restoring commonsense enforcement is the only way back to order.

The facts make his case undeniable: the previous administration’s mass-parole programs and app-based admission schemes invited nearly a million people into the country without a lawful, enforceable exit plan, and a DHS watchdog found there was no process to track or remove them once their temporary parole expired. That bureaucratic negligence was not an honest mistake — it was a policy choice that left Americans to pay the cost.

President Trump’s team moved fast to reverse those dangerous incentives: they tore down the CBP One magnet, paused mass parole pathways, and put real enforcement back on the table instead of hollow platitudes and virtue-signaling. Cancelling the app and ending the mass-parole loopholes was necessary to stop the daily reward structure that encouraged more migrants to make the deadly trek and to stop the paperwork trickery that let cartels exploit our system.

Conservatives should be proud that the administration is following through — not with empty rhetoric, but with policy and muscle. Stephen Miller and others who helped shape the pushback understand that restoring sovereignty means reasserting the rule of law at every border and in every courthouse; Project 2025 and the incoming team’s directives show a genuine plan to put safety and order ahead of donor-driven open-border fantasies.

This isn’t abstract politics; it’s about deadly drugs and violent cartels that profit from chaos. Customs and Border Protection’s own operations have exposed massive fentanyl flows and cartel activity in recent years, proving the point that lax policies don’t just encourage unlawful migration — they fuel a public-health and public-safety catastrophe that hits American families hardest.

Hardworking Americans didn’t ask for chaos, and they will not stand for a government that substitutes moralizing for competence. We should thank leaders who finally put enforcement, accountability, and ordinary Americans first, and we should demand that Washington never again trade our safety for a talking point or a left-wing press release.
