Sen. Ted Cruz was attacked in Houston while taking part in a parade to honor the Astros' World Series victory, according to the most recent edition of "Democrats Have No Problem with Political Violence."
Cruz was sitting in the back of a military truck when a man hurled a can of White Claw at him as the parade moved through Houston's streets. Although the senator's chest and neck were struck by the projectile, he did not require medical assistance.
According to ABC13, "The Houston Police Department confirmed an arrest in connection with what it's calling an assault."

HPD made one arrest during today’s victory parade. A male, 33, threw a beer can at U.S. Senator Ted Cruz as the Senator was on a float in the 2400 block of Smith St. The beer can struck the Senator in the chest/neck area. The Senator did not require medical attention.

The Texas Senator apologized for the incident and commended the Houston Police Department for their prompt reaction. He also mocked the suspect on Twitter:
If a Texas man was discovered consuming White Claw in public, what would happen to him? It's almost as awful as Brad Slager's weekend Zima drinking habit. Zima is not a self-respecting product; White Claw is.
Several left-wing media sites, including CNN, MSNBC, and others, decried the country's escalating political violence after the incident, which was captured on film. President Joe Biden referred to Cruz's attack as a "travesty." Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez blasted the offender as well.

Unfortunately, despite the intense criticism, no major news organization has covered the story. The Fourth Estate did not give the incident any coverage, much as the woman who was choked by a man during a rally against Kathy Hochul. What else might we anticipate from a media that prioritizes spreading misinformation over news?
