Another school shooting has rocked Minneapolis, and once again the left’s response proves their complete hypocrisy on gun violence. The gunman targeted Annunciation Catholic School, hitting grades K through 8 in what should have been a safe place for children to learn. This monster came armed with an AR-15, a shotgun, and a pistol, ready to cause maximum damage to innocent kids.
Conservative host Carl Higbie called out the screeching liberal women and their Democrat allies for their predictable response. They immediately started crying for more gun control laws, the same failed policies they always push. Higbie is absolutely right when he says gun control is the one thing that simply does not work to stop these tragedies.
The facts speak for themselves about liberal gun control failures. Cities with the strictest gun laws like Chicago and Baltimore have the highest murder rates in America. These Democrat-run cities prove that criminals don’t follow laws, and more restrictions only hurt law-abiding citizens who want to protect themselves and their families.
What’s even more telling is how quiet these same liberals get when the shooter doesn’t fit their narrative. Higbie pointed out that we heard crickets from the gun control crowd after the healthcare CEO assassination and Trump’s assassination attempts. They only scream about guns when it serves their political agenda to attack our Second Amendment rights.
The real solution isn’t taking guns away from good Americans who follow the laws. We need to focus on mental health, school security, and keeping dangerous criminals locked up where they belong. But Democrats would rather virtue signal than actually protect our children with real solutions that work.
These liberal politicians live in gated communities with armed security while telling working families they can’t defend themselves. They send their own kids to private schools with metal detectors while opposing basic security measures at public schools. The hypocrisy is disgusting and puts our children at risk every single day.
President Trump showed the right way forward during his first term by actually enforcing laws and supporting police. Crime dropped dramatically in cities that worked with federal law enforcement instead of defunding the police. Strong leadership and tough enforcement work better than any gun ban ever could.
American parents deserve leaders who will protect their children with real solutions, not political theater. We need to stop letting these failed liberal policies endanger our kids while politicians score cheap political points. Our Second Amendment rights are non-negotiable, and no amount of liberal screeching will change that fundamental truth.
